Don't take this the wrong way, but what do you mean by the "past"? I don't mean to be rude, but you sound like a new born Christian on a mission, who is satisfied that they have been "saved" from the fires of the abyss, or some such nonsense. Though to be honest, I do have many...concerns...that I am going to get off my chest in a second. About the material I mean.

Stephen your perception has led you so far off track (again) that you completely change the tone of the original post.

You put your own stank on it, so to speak.

So in a nutshell, you have bastardized the original post, and made it about your own angst towards Christianity.

Instead of it just being a long-time member who likes to come back once in a while, because it is comforting to be here, among this energy and membership.

You read more into the words of others here than they intend, and that is a signpost to your own internal process.

I have nothing against Christianity, my mother is a Christian, I specifically referred to a "born-again Christian on a mission", anyone with any sense knows those ones are the most fanatical of all. The member in question was referring to this as part of their past, whether it was their intention or not, I felt their tone came across as even more arrogant then some of the things I can come out with from time to time. To refer to this as "the past" implies their own sense of superiority in their current beliefs...if the Original Poster intended otherwise, they are certainly more then welcome to tell me, personally I would sooner hear from the horses mouth in this matter. Your views are valid, of course.

Yes, I saw that was well, behind the arrogance I perceived. I know that you and I are of obviously of very different minds on a lot of things, maybe that's because you a woman and me a man, or is it because we live in different countries, or is it because of a different upbringing, spiritual and social? It's no matter, because what I look at the matter deeper, our interpretations of things aren't really THAT different, we just look at things from a slightly different angle.
